NHS-experienced, qualified coach

About Ffion Wynn

NHS-experienced. Qualified coach. Perpetually curious about what makes people and careers work.

I've spent my career in the NHS, but I haven't spent it doing one thing. My own path has taken me from clinical practice and team leadership into programme management, national programmes, and workforce and service transformation.

Along the way, I've recruited people, developed teams, worked across professions and organisations, and made career changes of my own. I've learned that the experience you've already built is often far more transferable than it first appears — the difficult bit is recognising it, articulating it, and working out where it could take you next.

I'm an ILM Level 5 coach, but my approach is practical rather than formulaic. I'm interested in how people think, what motivates them, what they're unusually good at, and the patterns they may not yet see for themselves. I'll ask questions, challenge assumptions when it's useful, and help turn a complicated career problem into something you can actually do something about.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want. That's often the point of the conversation.

You might be here because...

Careers rarely move in a perfectly straight line. You might know exactly what you want next - or simply know that something needs to change.

Ready for something more

You know you're capable - but struggle to show it

You don't know what comes next

You're thinking about progression, a different role or moving beyond your current profession - but you're not yet sure what the right next step looks like.

Applications, CVs or interviews aren't communicating what you actually bring, and you're finding it difficult to articulate your experience and value.

Something isn't quite fitting anymore. You may have several possibilities - or none at all - and want space to work out what you actually want before deciding what to do.

Professional boundaries and conflicts of interest

Career Coaching with Ffion Wynn is an independent service provided outside my NHS employment.

To maintain clear professional boundaries and avoid actual or perceived conflicts of interest, I do not accept coaching clients who are employed by my own employing organisation.

Coaching is entirely independent of NHS recruitment and selection processes. My professional position, contacts, relationships, access to information or influence within the NHS will never be used to obtain, facilitate or provide preferential access to employment, interviews, appointments or other career opportunities for a client.

Coaching can help you understand your experience, strengthen how you communicate your skills, prepare for recruitment processes and make informed career decisions. It cannot provide inside information, influence a recruitment process, guarantee an interview or appointment, or give a client an advantage outside the normal recruitment and selection process.

I will not provide coaching where I am involved in, have privileged knowledge of, or could reasonably be perceived to influence a recruitment or employment decision affecting the client. If a potential conflict of interest becomes apparent, I may decline or end the coaching relationship.
