Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policy

I understand that plans sometimes change. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work for coaching sessions purchased through Career Coaching with Ffion Wynn.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

1. Cancelling or rescheduling an appointment

If you need to change your appointment, please give as much notice as reasonably possible.

Where you provide at least 48 hours' notice, you may normally:

  • reschedule your session to another available appointment; or

  • cancel the session and request a refund.

Please contact me using the contact details provided with your booking.

2. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice

Where you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, the session fee will normally be non-refundable because the appointment time has been reserved for you and may not reasonably be filled at short notice.

Where possible, I may offer one opportunity to reschedule at my discretion, particularly in exceptional circumstances such as sudden illness or an emergency.

This does not affect any statutory cancellation rights that may apply.

3. Missed appointments

If you do not attend a scheduled session and have not contacted me beforehand, the session will normally be treated as used and the fee will not normally be refunded.

If exceptional circumstances prevented you from attending or contacting me, please get in touch and I will consider the circumstances reasonably.

4. Arriving late

If you join a session late, I will normally still need to finish at the originally scheduled time because another commitment may follow.

A late arrival does not normally entitle you to a refund or extension of the session.

5. If I need to cancel

If I need to cancel or substantially rearrange your session, you will be offered:

  • an alternative appointment; or

  • a refund of the amount paid for the affected session.

You will not be charged any additional fee for rescheduling caused by me.

6. Two-session packages

The Two-Session Career Clarity Package consists of two separate 60-minute sessions.

Both sessions must be used within three months of the date of purchase, unless an extension is agreed by me in exceptional circumstances.

The normal cancellation and rescheduling rules apply to each scheduled session.

Where a package is cancelled before either session has been provided, any applicable statutory cancellation rights will be respected.

Where one session has already been provided and a refund for the unused part of the package is otherwise due, the value of the service already supplied may be deducted before calculating the refund.

7. Your statutory 14-day cancellation right

If you are booking as a consumer online, you will normally have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days of the date of purchase without giving a reason, subject to the rules applying to services that you ask to receive during that period.

If your coaching appointment is scheduled to take place within those 14 days, you may ask me to begin providing the service before the statutory cancellation period has ended.

Where required, you will be asked to expressly request that the service begins during the cancellation period and acknowledge the consequences for your cancellation rights.

If you cancel after the service has begun during the statutory cancellation period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied, where the legal requirements for doing so have been met.

Once a coaching service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following the required express request and acknowledgement, your statutory right to cancel that completed service may end.

8. How to cancel

To cancel a purchase or appointment, contact Career Coaching with Ffion Wynn using the contact details provided on the website or in your booking confirmation.

Please provide enough information for me to identify your booking, such as your name and booking date.

You do not need to provide a reason when exercising a statutory right to cancel.

9. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will normally be returned using the original payment method.

Any refund will be processed without undue delay and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

The time taken for funds to appear in your account after processing may depend on your payment provider.

10. Exceptional circumstances

I recognise that genuine emergencies and unexpected events happen.

Where circumstances fall outside this policy, I reserve the discretion to offer a rescheduled session, credit or refund where I consider that fair and appropriate.

This discretion does not limit any rights you have under consumer law.
